Through a combination of old-school activism techniques and unflagging, aggressive social media campaigns, PEP will work to secure a decline and eventual eradication of the pay disparity gap that exists between the sexes. Regrettably, many people are unaware that, on average, a full-time working woman is paid $0.82 for every dollar paid to a man. Through public service announcements, print advertisements, commercials, specialized internet based programming, and a collegiate outreach program, PEP will strive to elevate awareness about the institutional discrimination of women. The goal is for every person surfing on their phone, tablet, or television to be confronted with the pressing question: “How does the greatest country on earth allow its women to be paid less for the same work as men?” PEP will launch a YouTube channel featuring a series of interviews with social influencers, celebrities, politicians, and dignitaries. This groundbreaking series will showcase participants sharing their personal struggles, hardships, and victories in the battle for economic parity for women. Furthermore, PEP will focus on exposing and shaming the decision makers, corporations, and influencers who underpay women and justify their actions with either feigned ignorance or antiquated, elitist beliefs. Part of the education and awareness campaign will involve exposing and outing those who perpetuate the problem
